Adding Found Music to Albums
Once you have sucessfully searched your hard drive for and music files, you
can add them from the search results to albums or playlists.
You can only add MP3 files to “virtual” albums, i.e., albums
that have been created from MP3 files. You cannot add
music to pre-recorded CD albums.
To add found music to albums or playlists:
1. Search for MP3 files on your computer. See “Searching Your Computer
for Music Files” on page 103.
2. From the search results area, select files:
• Check the box next to the file(s) you want.
• Right-click in the box column to select or clear all files.
3. Right-click in any file details column. Choose an option from the menu:
• Import File imports the highlighted file only.
• Add File to Album import the file and adds it to the album you
specify.
• Import Tagged Files imports each file with a red check in the box to
its own album called Unknown Album [#] . You can then:
• change the name of this album (See Music Manager online help)
• add the files to a different album or to a playlist (see “Adding
Existing Music Files” on page 106)
• Add Tagged Files to Album adds all the tagged files to an album you
specify.
• Create Album from Tagged Files adds all the tagged files to a single
new album titled New Album [#] (see Import Tagged File, above).
Adding Existing Music Files
Music Manager enables you to organize your music into albums and playlists.
Music files can only appear in one album at any given time.
You can only add MP3 files to “virtual” albums, i.e., albums
that have been created from MP3 files. You cannot add
music to pre-recorded CD albums.
