Disc control features

Playing D isc m ode
This funciton permits the connection of optional players and the
playing of discs.
Playing Discs:
Press the SRC button repeatedly to select the disc control
mode.
The disc w ill start playing.
The disc control mode w ill differ, depending on the unit that is
connected.
M ode Display Examples
•
"DISC"...w hen a disc changer is connected
•
"DISC-1", "DISC-2"...w hen tw o disc changers are connected

N OTE
Pausing and Restarting Disc Play:
Press the

button to make the disc pause.
Press the same button again to start play again.
•
When one disc has finished playing its last track, the next disc
in the changer starts playing. When the last disc in the changer
has finished, the player returns to the first disc and starts
playing it.
•
Disc #10 is displayed as "0".
N OTE

When a unit equipped w ith an O-N sw itch is to be connected,
please also see the instruction manual of this unit.
Set the O-N sw itch to "N". "N"-operation w ill be set.

When a unit that is not equipped w ith an O-N sw itch, or the
changer sw itching unit "KCA-S200" is connected, "O"-
operation w ill be set.
"N"-operation:
•
The disc title and track title of the CD text can be displayed.
•
The disc name w ill be displayed w hen the name has been
registered to any connected unit w ith the Presetting Disc Names
function, or w hen the playing unit contains a disc to w hich the
disc title has been recorded.
"O"-operation:
•
CD text cannot be displayed.
•
Regardless of the control unit, the characters that can be
registered w ith the Presetting Disc Names function are "A~ Z 0~ 9
/, + , –, * , = , < , > , [ , ]".
•
The disc name w ill be displayed w hen the name has been
registered to the playing unit w ith the Presetting Disc Names
function.
The CD text, Presetting Disc Names, and Disc Name Preset Play
functions may not be operational depending on the unit.
