Pow er
Turning on the pow er:
Press the SRC button.
Turn the pow er on before carrying out the follow ing procedures.
Turning off the pow er:
Hold dow n the PWR OFF button for one second or more.
Selecting the standby mode:
Press the SRC button repeatedly to select to "ALL OFF".
When "ALL OFF" is displayed, the standby mode is turned on.
The standby mode turns all functions off although leaving the
unit’s pow er on. Use this mode w hen you w ant to have the
display illuminated but do not w ant to listen to anything.

Sw itching M odes:
Each time you press the SRC button, the mode sw itches as
follow s:

Standby mode
The mode sw itches to the next mode from any mode w hich can-
not be used.

Increasing Volume:
Press the

button to turn up the volume.
Decreasing Volume:

button to turn dow n the volume.

This function allow s you to turn dow n the volume quickly.
Turning Attenuator On/ Off:
Press the ATT button to sw itch the attenuator on and off.
When the attenuator is on, the ATT indicator blinks.
When the attenuator is off, the volume returns to the original
level.
Turning dow n the volume all the w ay turns off the attenuator
function.
N OTE
Loudness
This function amplifies low and high tones w hen the volume
is turned dow n.
The LOUD indicator lights up, w hen the loudness function is
on.
Turning Loudness On/ Off:
Press the LOUD button to sw itch the loudness on and off.
The AF function can be turned on or off even w hen the standby
mode has been turned on. If the pow er is on, the AF function
tunes in to stations that offer good reception.
