Select whether formatting is executed.
Confirm execution of formatting.
Enter the selection.
The same operation is also available on the main unit.
* Selecting [RETURN] returns to the previous
display.
* Selecting [CANCEL] returns to the previous
display.
Never remove the memory card
during formatting. Otherwise,
malfunction may result.
CAUTION
* A message [Don't remove MEMORY CARD] is
scrolled.
A memory card subjected to MEMORY FORMAT on this
system may not be usable with certain other devices.
MEMORY FORMAT may take a long type depending on
the memory card type.
[COMPLETE] is
displayed.
* The display in step
1 returns after
completion.
MEMORY FORMAT erases all data
in the memory card including the
folders and music files recorded
and created with this system.
* Once formatted, the erased data
cannot be restored. Be careful while
performing the operation.
Preparations
Press the SETUP key to select
[SYSTEM SETUP] in advance.
Before erasing all data in the
memory card (MEMORY FORMAT),
select the memory card source in
advance.
* Selecting [CANCEL] returns to the previous
display.
* Confirm the formatting again because the data
cannot be restored once it has been erased.
