4.10 Security Code Force Delete mode (Only for European models)
While pressing and holding [
] key, press [SEARCH] key for 3 seconds.
4.10.1 Mode transition method
Transit to this mode by pressing the above keys, and "- - - -" disappears.
4.10.2 Simplified forced deletion of the security code
Clear the security code by the following operations.
• Enter "KCAR" by using the remote control.
(1) Press the [5] key 2 times to display "K", then press the [
] key.
(2) Press the [2] key 3 times to display "C", then press the [
] key.
(3) Press the [2] key 1 time to display "A", then press the [
] key.
(4) Press the [7] key 2 times to display "R", then press the [
] key.
After (4), if the entered CODE is correct, the opening screen appears.
• If an incorrect remote control CODE is entered, the Security Code Force Delete mode is terminated, and the normal code-entry
screen appears.
*In this mode, the [VOL] key is not used for confirmation of the CODE.
*Pressing the [
] key won't move the digit to the left.
*Cursor display or blinking display of the input digit do not appear.
4.11 Diagnostic Data Mode Specification
In the SXM source, press and hold [RETURN] key and [ACCENT] key for 7 seconds.
(It is necessary to connect tuner box sold separately)
4.11.1 Default status immediately after the mode activation
It shall be same as the normal activation.
4.11.2 Mode structure
Diagnostic Data Mode is only enabled in Sirius XM source.
4.11.3 Mode content
Syscon shall display the following information after entering this mode.
4.11.4 Display mode available during Diagnostic Data Mode
In Diagnostic Data Mode, the display can be switch between Diagnostic Mode display and normal mode display using [DISP] key.
The default display mode upon activation is Diagnostic Mode display.
