Other cautions
Even audio fi les compliant to the above standard may
be unable to be played depending on the recording
conditions of the disc, etc.
Playback may sometimes be impossible depending on the
specifi cations and setup of the software used in encoding.
Files with DRM (Digital Rights Management) cannot be
played back.
Audio fi les encoded in VBR (Variable Bit Rate) may contain
data outside the compatible bit rate of this system. Such
audio fi les containing incompatible bit rates cannot be
played back.
Note on fi le extensions
Make sure that audio fi lenames have proper extensions
(mp3, wma, m4a). A fi le without the extension cannot be
played. Also, do not put extension (mp3, wma, m4a) to
a fi le that is not an audio fi le. For the fi le extensions, see
"Playable audio fi les".
