Changing the setups of the system
Setting the power supply to the
USB terminal
"Power Supply"
The digital audio played connected to the USB
terminal can be charged according to this setting,
even when the USB audio source is not selected.

Enter the setup mode.
Press [MODE].

Select
"Power Supply"
.
Use [MULTI CONTROL< / >] to select,
then press [ENTER].

Select whether or not the power is
supplied.
Use [MULTI CONTROL< / >] to select,
then press [ENTER].
Power is supplied.
Power is not supplied.
Supply ON
Supply OFF
The setup mode is exited automatically when the
selection is entered.
When the "USB" audio source is selected with the input
selector, the power is automatically supplied to the
connected component.
Power is not supplied when the system is in standby
mode.

Setting D.AUDIO Control
"D.AUDIO Control"
When a Kenwood Digital Audio Player Link-
compatible component is connected to this system
using the separately available dedicated cable,
the connected component can be controlled from
this unit or remote control unit according to this
setting. When D.AUDIO Control is set to "OFF", a
portable player component can be connected.

"D.AUDIO Contol"

then press [ENTER].

Set D.AUDIO Control.
Use [MULTI CONTROL< / >] to select,
then press [ENTER].
ON (D.AUDIO)
OFF (PORTABLE)
D.AUDIO Control is activated.
The input selector display shows
"D.AUDIO".
D.AUDIO Control is deactivated.
The input selector display shows
"PORTABLE".
The setup mode is exited automatically when the
selection is entered.
To abort setup in the middle:
