FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHY WON’T MY GRILL POWER ON?
Verify power at the electrical outlet. If Power
Cord is connected to a GFI (Ground Fault
Interrupter), check and reset if necessary.
Initiate Grill startup.
If still no power, the Control Panel T5AL250V
fuse may be burnt out. To change fuse:
1.
WARNING!
Turn the Switch OFF (O) and
disconnect the Power Cord.
2.
Unscrew and remove the two screws attaching
Control Panel to front of Hopper.
3.
Pull the Control Panel forward and out to
expose the circuit board on back. The fuse
holder is on the lower right.
4.
Remove the fuse holder lid. The fuse is
inserted on the underside of the lid.
5.
Push the old fuse out of the lid and replace
with a new T5AL250V fuse.
6.
Reattach the fuse holder lid.
7.
Reinstall the Control Panel.

WHY ARE NO PELLETS BEING DELIVERED
INTO THE FIREPOT?
See Initial Firing Procedure section of this Use &

HOW DO I REMOVE THE AUGER IF IT JAMS?
WARNING!
Turn the Switch OFF (O) and
disconnect the Power Cord.
CAUTION!
If the Grill is still hot, allow it to
thoroughly cool.
1.
Remove any covers necessary to access
the Auger Drive Motor.
See Parts List and
Hopper/Burner Assembly Detail diagram in
this Use & Care Guide.
2.
Remove the screw connecting the
Auger Drive Motor shaft to the Auger
shaft and the screw retaining the
Auger Bushing in the Auger Housings.
3.
With a small pipe wrench or locking
pliers on the Auger shaft, turn the
Auger counterclockwise. It will turn
hard until it breaks free, then the
Auger will turn freely.
4.
Remove the Auger and clean all Pellets, ash
or foreign objects from the Auger, Auger
Housings and Firepot. See instructions for
proper handling and disposal of ash.
5.
Sand the outside surfaces of the auger with
medium grit sandpaper. Check the inside of
the Auger Housings and sand if needed.
Vacuum the sanding grit out of the Auger
Housings and Firepot when finished. Check
that the Auger rotates freely.
6.
Re-attach the Auger shaft to the Auger Drive
Motor shaft.
WHY DOES MY GRILL FIRE GO OUT
IN SMOKE MODE?
There may be excess ash in the Firepot which
needs to be cleaned. See Initial Firing Procedure
section of this Use & Care Guide.
