CARE AND CLEANING
Disconnect the device from the power socket before cleaning. Before cleaning the
device, it should be sufficiently cooled down after use. Do not pour out the liquid
until it has cooled down sufficiently to avoid scalding. Never immerse the device in
water as it can be damaged.
Only clean the motor unit and the lid of the 500 ml container with a
mild detergent and a damp cloth. Before using the parts again,
please dry them su
ffi
ciently. Do not use abrasive sponges or
abrasive cleaning agents or aggressive liquids such as petrol or
acetone to clean the device.
Clean the surface of the device with a soft cloth or sponge, a little
warm water and a mild washing-up liquid. Do not immerse the
motor base in water.
Do not clean the stainless-steel hand blender attachment with the
titanium blades in the dishwasher. Clean immediately after use
under running water and a little washing-up liquid. Do not dive
under water! The blades are very sharp, please clean them
carefully. There is a risk of injury.
METHODS TO REMOVE DISCOLORATION IN THE MIXING CONTAINER
Fill the hand blender jug halfway with warm water and add three tablespoons of vinegar essence to
the jar. For an even better e
ff
ect, you can also add a teaspoon of baking soda. Let the mixture work
for 2-3 hours. Then rinse well with water. You can fill the hand blender jug halfway with warm water
and add baking soda. Let the baking powder take e
ff
ect for about an hour, then rinse well with clean
water. Alternatively, you can fill the blender jug up to halfway with warm water and add two to three
tablets of denture cleaner. Let the denture cleaner work for about an hour, then rinse well with clear
water.
You can achieve environmentally friendly cleaning with the juice of one lemon or citric acid and two to
three tablespoons of baking powder or baking soda. Fill the container halfway with warm water and
add the ingredients. Let the mixer run for about 10 seconds. Then pour out the container and clean
the inside walls with a non-scratching soft sponge. Then rinse the container thoroughly with water.
When exposed to direct sunlight for a few hours and a little lemon juice or citric acid, discoloration
usually disappears.
