NORMAL SHUTDOWN
Engage cutter wheel
Disengage cutter
wheel - START position
Throttle
Set the throttle to SLOW/DISENGAGE. If the engine has been
running full out, let it run easily for about 30 seconds to one
minute at low speed.
DO NOT let front of unit touch ground until you are sure cutting
wheel has stopped turning
WARNING!
A rotating cutting blade is very DANGEROUS! Stay at the operating position and be sure that
the blade comes to a complete stop before doing anything else.
GRIP BAR
Brake
Activate the brake by pulling the lever.
ON
OFF
FUEL VALVE
FUEL VALVE
Close the fuel valve. Turn the lever all the way to the left
(see illustration). Release the safety presence bar. Wait until
the blade stops. Make sure that the blade is resting against
the ground and has stopped completely before doing any-
thing.
Caution!
The engine can become very hot. To
avoid being burned, you must turn
off the engine and wait until all
parts have cooled before touching
the engine.
