STARTING THE ENGINE
1. Switch the engine to
"On".
2. Open the fuel tap.
3. If the engine is cold, full choke. If the engine is hot, no choke
4. Throttle, 1/4 - 1/3 gas.
5. Pull the cord - the engine will start
6. Let the engine idle for 1-2 minutes to warm up before use.

Open the choke.
(the grey lever should be pulled to the right)
Open the fuel tap.
(the black lever should be pulled to the right)
Note: The fuel tap must be closed when the
machine is not in use, during service, trans-
portation of the machine.

Pull the starting handle slowly until the mecha-
nism engages, then pull the handle quickly.
Do not pull the starting cord out fully and do not
release the handle when the cord is extended as
there is a risk of it getting tangled. Repeat until
the engine starts.

Important!
When the starter cord is pulled in too quick-
ly, there is a risk that your hand and arm will
be pulled towards the engine before you
have time to release. Fractures, bruising or
sprains may occur.
