5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
General maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of the chain and
/ or bar require disassembly and assembly of the chainsaw.
• Turn off the chainsaw and disconnect the power source.
• Remove the guide plate and chain.
• Clean the oil outlet (1), the oil inlet (2), the rear groove of the guide plate
(3) with a delicate brush.
• Clean the chain with a soft brush.
• Install the bar and chain.
5.1. CHAIN LUBRICATION
Chain oil can lubricate and cool the chain:
1. Turn off the electric saw and disconnect the battery from its housing.
2. Place the chainsaw in a horizontal position with the oil holder nozzle
facing up.
3. Clean the tank and the surrounding area with a damp cloth.
4. Rotate the oil tank cap until it can be removed (Image 11).
5. Remove the cap.
6. Top up the chain oil to the correct level to avoid overflowing.
7. Lubricate the chain before and during work. Operate the pump 3 times
before starting to cut and incline the saw to facilitate correct distribution
of the oil.
8. Place and screw the cover.
