Rejecting Spam
Setting mail filters to reject spam is recommended.
The
(Recommended Settings) helps you to set
mail filters easily.

Recommended Settings
Mail filter is set to reject spoofing mail, auto-forwarding mail
and to receive mail sent from a cell phone, PHS, or PC.
When the standby screen is displayed, press

Using C-mail
C-mail is a service that uses phone numbers as addresses to
exchange messages between au cell phones that support
C-mail. A C-mail message can contain up to 50 double-byte
(or 100 single-byte) characters.

C-mail Safety Block
C-mail safety block is a function that allows you to reject
C-mails that include URLs (http://

, https://

) or
phone numbers in the C-mail message text.
C-mail safety block is valid by default. Cancel the setting if
you want to receive C-mails that include URLs and phone
numbers in the message text.
• You can also prevent spam by changing your e-mail
address. For details on changing your e-mail address,
see page 16.
