5.6   Unit lighting 

Replacing the 

lighting system in 

the canopy

The lighting system is made up of 4 tubes of 58W each. 

•  a white tube in the lower front section,
•  a coloured tube above in the canopy matching the design 

colour 

•  and two tubes for the interior (in the canopy and the 

back). 

The starters for the tubes are in the left socket of each tube. 
They have to be replaced if necessary. 

•  Remove the end metal covers on the right and left of the 

handle rail. Undo the screws of the aluminium traverse 
and tilt it up. (Illustr. 5-17) 

•  Slightly lift the inserted element (loosen the velcro 

fastening). 

 

•  Pull out the inserted element (Illustr. 5-18).

Exchanging the

These tubes are located behind the tanning tubes. 

•  Open the acrylic pane of the canopy or of the back 
•  Remove the tanning tubes

 

•  Exchange the corresponding tubes and if necessary the  

 

 

starters at the left socket as well.

•  Hang the base pane onto the bolted, open canopy. 
•  Loosen the bolting of the lower part of the bed and tilt up 

the bed (Illustr. 5-20 .... Illustr. 5-22)

 

•  Now you can change the tube. If necessary, take the    

 

 

opportunity to exchange the starter (at the left socket) as  

 

 

well.
