Position of the handlebars
Position the handlebars so that you can easily reach the gear shifts and brake levers. Try to fi nd a
sitting position where your hands rest lightly on the handlebars. If you rest too heavily on the handle-
bars this puts a lot of strain on your wrists and forearms. Remember to tighten all screw connections
after adjusting.
NOTE: NEVER LIFT THE HANDLEBAR POST OR SADDLE POST OVER THE MARKING FOR THE TOP POSITION.
Adjusting chainset without key bolts
IMPORTANT: Check if the bike’s chain rings and crank arms are of the type that do not have key
bolts. If so, check that the nuts holding them secure in the chainset are properly tightened. We
recommend you check whether the nuts are properly tightened after using the bike for two
weeks, and then every three months.
