Accessories
• A carrier rack and child’s seat can be fi tted. NOTE: Some mountain bikes require special carrier
racks, check that the carrier rack is suitable for your particular bike.
• A bike trailer can be used together with the bike.
Fit the pedals
NOTE: The pedals are not the same – the pedal marked R should sit on the right-hand crank arm
and the pedal marked L on the left-hand crank arm.
NOTE: Use a suitable lubricant on the pedal threads when fi tting them.
Fitting the right-hand pedal (R):
Screw in the pedal on the chain side crank arm, and
carefully tighten with a spanner.

Fitting the left-hand pedal (L):
Screw in the pedal (anticlockwise) on the opposite side of
the chain, and carefully tighten with a spanner.
