ACC Mode
The ACC Mode setting is used to select the Rhythm Section’s chord input method.
* Please refer to page 44 for more information about the different Rhythm Section accompaniment modes.

Rhythm Section play/control mode
Normal
(default)
Upper section plays melody, lower section controls Rhythm Section key.
Full Keyboard
Full keyboard plays melody, and controls Rhythm Section key.
Preset Chord
Full keyboard plays melody, Rhythm Section changes key automatically.
1. Selecting the ACC Mode setting
After entering the Rhythm Settings menu (page 103):
Press the
d
or
c
MENU buttons to select the ACC Mode setting.
2. Changing the ACC Mode setting
Press the
d
or
c
VALUE buttons to cycle through the different
ACC Mode types.
* Any changes made to the ACC Mode setting will remain until the
power is turned off.
* Preferred ACC Mode settings can be stored to a Registration memory
for convenient recall. Please refer to page 34 for more information.
Preset Chord
The Preset Chord setting is used to specify which preset chord sequences the Rhythm Section will follow.
For a complete listing of the available Rhythm Section Preset Chord sequences, please refer to page 130 of this
owner’s manual.
* This setting is only available when the ACC Mode setting is set to ‘Preset Chord’.
Changing the Preset Chord
After selecting the Preset Chord ACC Mode:
Press the
d
or
c
MENU buttons to select the Preset Chord
settings page, then press the
d
or
c
VALUE buttons to cycle
through the different Preset Chord sequences.
* The A-B LOOP button can also be used to quickly turn the Preset Chord
function on/off without entering the ACC Mode settings page.
