The SONICflex can be used in conjunction with KaVo tips for plaque re‐
moval, prophylaxis, endodontics, periodontology, surgery and conservative
dentistry.
The amount of water needs to be set on the dental unit so that the instru‐
ment tip sprays the water with the proper oscillating intensity. It is important
to remove all the plaque to ensure satisfactory oral hygiene and thorough
periodontological treatment. The vibration cleaning of the SONICflex is
