Position determination
If you enter your position (location) manually then the search for a satellite is much shorter This applies
in particular after a change of location You can either enter your position as GPS data or else select the
country and a (larger) town in the vicinity from a list
Entering the position as GPS data

You know the GPS data of your location (latitude and longitude)
1 Press the
(green) button and select with the
buttons "Position determination"
2 Select with
"via GPS" (see Fig A below)
3 Select with
"My Latitude" and
–
set the latitude (the closest value) with
or
–
enter the latitude with the numeric buttons to one place of decimals, eg
192
for 192°
4 Select with
"My Longitude" and
–
set the longitude (the closest value) with
or
–
enter the longitude with the numeric buttons to one place of decimals, eg
98
for 98° or
118
for
118° Press
as required to change the latitude from "West" to "East" or vice versa
5 End the input with the
or
(green) buttons
6 Select a channel The antenna is oriented according to the GPS data that was entered
