steam release valve (4). To do this, turn such knob from position II to position I and
then from position I to position
. . Wait for the steam to stop escaping from the
pressure regulator/steam release valve (4) and the red stem of the safety valve (9) to
drop. You can also place the pressure cooker under the cold tap water or immerse it in
cold water as to reduce the temperature and the pressure of the cooker. To open the
pressure cooker, turn the closing/opening lid knob (5) anticlockwise until you hear the
characteristic click indicating the lid is open. Note: use heat-resistant gloves or oven
mitts to protect your hands when turning the knob of the pressure regulator/steam
release valve (4) and the safety valve (9).

When cooked, allow the pot to cool down and wait for the pressure cooker to
release steam completely. Do not fully immerse the pressure cooker in water and do
not place it directly under the stream of water to speed up the cooling.

When cooking soups and dense foods, gently shake the pressure cooker
before opening the lid in order to prevent food from splattering.
VI. Timer
1.
Timer: Easy and convenient to use. It can be removed and placed anywhere
at any time. The characteristic beep sound will warn you when your food is ready.
Before first use, remove the battery interlocking strip on its back.

Timer buttons:

MIN: Each press adds 1 minute on the display.

SEC: Each press adds 1 second on the display.

START/STOP: this button starts the countdown of the timer; when reaching
the set time, the display adjusts to 00:00 and generates a sound alarm.

Using the timer:
Set the desired time using the MIN and SEC buttons. When pressing the start/
stop button, the timer starts the counting down to 00:00, after which you will hear a
continuous beep sound. Turn off the sound alarm by pressing any of the buttons. To
reset the timer, press the MIN and SEC buttons simultaneously. NOTE: Timer does not
have the turning OFF function, it is always in standby and the display shows 00:00. To
turn off the timer completely, remove the battery.

Battery replacement (type LR44): To replace the battery, open the timer cap
on its back. To do this, turn the cap of the timer from the closed position (padlock
closed) to the open position (padlock open). Insert the new battery with the “+” side
facing up. Then, place the timer cap back and close it by turning it from the open to
the closed position. Dispose of the used battery in accordance with the applicable
regulations.
CAUTION! Do not use pointed objects to remove the battery.
CAUTION! Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
CAUTION! Do not put the battery in your mouth. If swallowed, seek medical advice or
contact your local poison control center.
VII.
Safety warnings
1.
Do not cook in the pressure cooker without water. This can cause damage or
shorten the service life of the pressure cooker.
