EN 102
14.1
External cleaning
CAUTION
Risk of damaging the exterior film (with water jets)!
Strong water jets or pressure washers can damage the delicate edges of the exterior film.
In the worst case, this can cause the exterior film to delaminate.
●
Never use a pressure washer or similar appliance with high water pressure to
clean the outside of the motorhome.
Use only suitable cleaning agents from a specialist dealer for cleaning the outside of the vehicle.
CAUTION
Risk of damaging the windows and exterior film in a tunnel car wash!
If a tunnel car wash is used to clean your vehicle, the rotating brushes can damage the
acrylic glass windows and the delicate edges of the exterior film.
●
Never clean the vehicle in a tunnel car wash or other automatic car wash.
14.2
Cleaning windows and roof lights
CAUTION
Risk of damage to windows and roof lights due to incorrect cleaning and/or aggressive
cleaning agents!
The windows and roof lights in your motorhome are made of acrylic. This material is
sensitive to scratching and can become brittle or matt and cracked if it is cleaned
incorrectly.
●
Never use glass cleaner, substances containing spirit or alcohol, or chemical
solvents for cleaning!
●
Never rub/wipe windows and roof lights while they are dry!
●
If ice has formed on windows and roof lights, do not use de-icing spray and/or
ice scrapers!
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
Use only the appropriate acrylic cleaning and care products from a specialist dealer for cleaning and
maintaining the windows and roof lights.
