Defrosting the cooling compartment
Over time, frost builds up on the cooling fins. Once the ice layer has a
thickness of approx. 3 mm, the refrigerator needs to be defrosted.
Condensation water is collected into a container. The container is
located on the rear side of the refrigerator. The condensation water
is left there to evaporate.

Defrosting the freezer compartment
Take out the food and store it in another refrigerator, if available. Turn the temperature controller to
level 0. Keep the door open.
Never use any mechanical tools or heat sources to remove the ice layers or to loosen objects that are
or frozen in place.

Door lock
The refrigerator has a locking device for the door, which serves as a protection while travelling.
The blue bracket on the handle can be placed in such a way (see the photo below) that the door stays
slightly opened.

Position 2 (the door can not be closed completely)

Switching the refrigerator off
- Switch off refrigerator
- Clean the inside of the refrigerator.
- Set the blue bracket in position 2
- Close the door so that it clicks into place.
The door remains slightly open to prevent the development of odours.
