2 – Refrigerator
Your vehicle is equipped with a compressor refrigerator made by
Thetford
. The refrigerator is designed to operate with 12 V DC.
The refrigerator allows you to store fresh food.
You may also store frozen food in the freezer compartment.
The cooling power depends on the ambient temperature, the amount of food to be kept cool and the
number of times the refrigerator door is opened.
•
Food preservation
- Turn the refrigerator on approx. 12 hours before filling it and, if possible, only fill it with food that
has already been pre-cooled.
- Always keep food in closed containers or wrapped in aluminium foil or similar wrapping.
- Do not put hot or warm food in the refrigerator, wait until the food has cooled down.
- Never store food in the refrigerator which could emit volatile or ignitable gases.
- Delicate or perishable food must be placed directly next to the cooling elements.
- The freezer compartment is intended for ice-cream preparations and the short-term storage of
frozen food. It is not suitable for freezing food.
- Protect the refrigerator from direct sunlight.
- Bear in mind that if the vehicle is parked in direct sunlight, the increased indoor temperature may
adversely affect the power consumption and performance of the refrigerator.
- Always ensure unobstructed air circulation around the refrigerator.
