2.1
Intended use of the motorhome
The motorhome may only be used as a motorhome, for the purposes of private personal transport and
for transporting personal travel luggage.
It is suitable for use on public roads according to the relevant national highway code and the road traffic
licensing regulations.
Any use of the motorhome going beyond this or deviating from this is prohibited and is considered to
be a violation of the intended use.
●
The motorhome must not be used for transporting loads or for commercial passenger transport.
●
The permissible number of passengers, the gross vehicle weight of the motorhome and the
maximum authorised axle weights must not be exceeded.
●
When the vehicle is in motion, all occupants must be in the approved seats equipped with safety
belts and must be buckled in.
●
Use of the interior equipment, in particular the installed appliances and components, is prohibited
while the vehicle is in motion.
Claims of any type against the manufacturer and/or its authorised representatives, dealers and
representatives that arise from use of the motorhome other than the intended use are excluded.
The owner is solely liable for all damage incurred from use other than the intended use.
Intended use also includes adhering to the operating, maintenance and cleaning instructions for the
installed appliances and components.
2.2
Owner’s responsibility
The owner of the motorhome is obligated to maintain the motorhome in a technically sound and
roadworthy condition.
This includes, in particular, observing the operating manual for the base vehicle and adhering to the
stipulated service intervals.
The owner must arrange for the legally stipulated regular checks to be carried out in time.
These checks include:
●
Vehicle check according to par. 29 StVZO [German road traffic licensing regulations] (TÜV)
●
Gas system check by an authorised professional
The owner is obligated to keep continuously informed about the current laws and regulations from which
further obligations are derived.
Note:
If the owner makes changes to the superstructure, the interior equipment, the installed
appliances and components or installs/attaches accessories that have not been approved
by the vehicle manufacturer, this can result in damage and/or a loss of warranty.
