11.2 Seat adjustments
Before using the wheelchair, the seat must be set to the right size for the user.
Most of the time this will be done by your local supplier, together with your
therapist. A well-adjusted seat will give you optimum support and comfort.
11.2.1 Seat depth
To adjust the seat depth, we move the backrest frame forward or backward.
Please take the following steps:
Step 1: First, take off the seat cushion. Use 4mm Allen key to unscrew the
bolts connecting the seat plate. Then take off the seat plate.
Step 2: Use two #13 Open Wrench to remove these 4 bolts and nuts
connecting the frame. There are holes for incremental adjustments which is in
increments of 25.4 mm
(1”).
Step 3: Lift the seat and move it forward or backward to the desired position.
