BASIC STRUCTURE
KEYPAD
The keypad of the digital DSS28 module consists of 28 programmable keys in 14x2
matrix structure.
Since the programming of keys are directly made through the connected ST digital
phone, there is no need to make any programming or setting over the DSS module. All
required settings are made through the ST26 and ST30 Digital Telephone Set.
LED STATUS
Each of 28 keys on DSS28 module can be programmed for a function and the status of
this function is shown with a red LED.
In the normal operation mode, you can trace the function status of the keys as given
below:
Extension Status LED
On Hook Off
Busy Continuously On
Ringing Blinking
Parked Continuously On
Line Status LED
Idle Off
Busy Continuously On
Incoming call Blinking
Parked Blinking fast
UTILIZATION
There are some facilities for different situations in order to use the programmable keys
on DSS28 module.
It is enough to press the related programmed key to activate the programmed facility. If
an extension or line number is assigned to the key, the call is started just by pressing
this key. During the conversation, if this key is pressed again the call is put on hold. By
this way, the operations like “Conference”, “Call Transfer” and etc. can be carried out
easily.
