1. Important notes
Before putting into operation, please observe the
following points:
• Inform your dealer immediately if there is any
transport damage.
• Completely remove the accessories from the
carton.
• Only operate the suction unit from a suitable
socket outlet with earthing contact . Refer to
the Technical data for the necessary mains
fuse.
• The suction unit is not suitable for sucking up
hazardous dusts such as asbestos. Please
consult your Kärcher branch or your Kärcher
dealer with regard to such applications.
Safety instructions
Please observe the following safety instructions.
• Unplug the mains plug from the socket before
performing any maintenance work.
• Always check the mains cable for damage or
signs of ageing before use.
• Do not use the suction unit if the mains cable is
not in perfect condition.
• Remember: never damage the mains cable by
driving over it, crushing it, pulling it hard etc.
• Only a skilled electrician or your authorized Kär-
cher customer service center may replace the
mains cable.
Only use the original cable H05 VV - F 2x1 (Or-
der No. GB: 6.647-264; AUS: 6.647-266).
CAUTION!
Never suck up:
• hot ashes
• explosive liquids
including petrol, paint thinner or heating oil,
since explosive vapors form when they swirl
together with the suction air.
• acetone
• undiluted acids and solvents
