Running Gear – Toe-in adjustment
Measuring front wheel toe-in
Adjusting toe-in
– Set steering wheel for straight-ahead travel.
– Hook measuring tape into one of the tire tread
grooves.
– Pass measuring tape under unit and across
to opposite wheel.
– Read mesaurement "x" on tread groove
corresponding to opposite wheel.
With toe-in properly adjusted, dimension "x" at
the front of tyres is 5 mm smaller than the
dimension at rear of tyres.
