The appliance was developped specifically
for working in areas with risks of explosion
(zone 1 and zone 2).
Use this high pressure cleaner exclusively
for:
– to clean machines, vehicles, buildings,
containers and tools, which are exclu-
sively permitted for cleaning using a
high-pressure cleaner.
– with accessories and spare parts ap-
proved by Kärcher.
– It is wrong and therefore prohibited is
the cleaning of humans and animals.
There is a high risk of injury due to the
high pressure jet.
– It is wrong and therefore prohibited is
cleaning loose parts. These can get
thrown off due to the high pressure jet
and can cause damage to persons or
other parts of the plant.
– The appliance should only be operated
with water.
– If water is used for cleaning, protect the
appliance from frost to prevent damag-
es by freezing water.
High-pressure jets can be dan-
gerous if improperly used. The
jet may not be directed at per-
sons, animals, live electrical equipment or
at the appliance itself.
– Please follow the national rules and
regulations for fuel spray jets of the re-
spective country.
– Please follow the national rules and
regulations for accident prevention of
the respective country. Fuel spray jets
must be tested regularly and the results
of these tests must be documented in
writing.
1 The pump must only be used in zones
that correspond to the ignition protec-
tion type on the typeplate.
2 The pump must be grounded electro-
statically. The ground must be conduc-
tive.
3 The pump must only be operated after
its been ventilated.
4 Never draw in fluids containing solvents
or undiluted acids and solvents! This in-
cludes petrol, paint thinner and heating
oil. The spray mist thus generated is
highly inflammable, explosive and poi-
sonous. Do not use acetone, undiluted
acids and solvents as they are aggres-
sive towards the materials from which
the appliance is made.
5 The infeed temperature of the cleaning
liquid water with detergents must not
must not exceed 50 °C.
6 The pump must be checked regularly
for flawless condition and function after
an appropriate operating period (among
others, bearings for wear, pump for
leaks). If applicable, a repair needs to
be conducted.
7 The pump must only be used with
cleaning liquids, whose affect on the
materials is not damaging.
8 Hoses must be conductive (electrostat-
ically) (resistance R < 10

Ohm).
Use only original parts.
9 Please follow the national rules and
regulations of the respective country.
