UP TOO SLOWLY
Line voltage too low
Check with power company; install
heavier wire. See wiring instructions
Low water level
Add water.
Sludge buildup on floor of tank
Scrape sludge and remove from tank.
Heater lead wire does not have good
connection
Reattach heater lead wires.
Heater element burned out
Check ohms at element
- replace if necessary.

MAGNETIC
STARTER/RELAY
WON'T
ENGAGE
Recheck timer for proper setting and
operation
Reset timer.
Low water level
Add water.
Temperature controller setting too low
Increase temperature controller setting.
Fuse blown on transformer
Replace fuse.
Low water switch not working
Replace or clean.
Starter/relay defective
Replace starter/relay.
PUMP MOTOR
WILL NOT
RUN
Wash timer switch is off
Be sure switch is on.
Overload switch is tripped
Allow 15 minutes for motor to cool down.
Overload will automatically reset.
Low water float switch
Add water, check float switch.
Wash timer switch is defective
Replace switch.
Lid open, not depressing safety switch
Close lid.
Wires at motor are loose, disconnected, or
wired incorrectly
Refer to instructions on wiring. Check and
tighten all wiring.
Coil on magnetic starter/relay defective
Check power to coil and replace magnetic
starter/relay.
Lid safety switch defective
Replace switch.
No power
Check incoming power.
Low line voltage
If voltage under recommended minimum,
check size of wiring from main switch to parts
washer. If OK, contact power company.
Defective motor
Replace motor.
PUMP MOTOR RUNS
HOT
AND OVERLOAD
KICKS OFF
Motor is wired incorrectly
Refer to instructions on motor.
Voltage is too low
Check with power company; install heavier
wiring if wire size is too small. See wiring
instructions.
Pump cycles too frequently
Check lid safety switch for proper depres-
sion. Readjust if needed for proper opera-
tion.
