Switch off the appliance; press the on/off
foot switch to do so.

Place the strut in an upright position dur-
ing breaks; there is a stopper that that
holds it in position.

The dirt container can be removed in 2 ways:
1) Hold the appliance up at the strut with one
hand and unlock the dirt container.
2) Place the appliance on the floor and unlock
the dirt container.
Î
Unlock the dirt container and remove it.
Î
Empty the dirt container.
Î
Insert and lock into place the dirt contain-
er.
Î
Switch off the appliance when finished.
Î
Empty dirt container after each cleaning.
Î
Charge the battery if required.

Store the appliance in a dry room.

The appliance can be stored upright on its
back.
Caution
Remove the battery prior to any care and
maintenance work.

Wipe the appliance using a damp cloth.
Do not use any aggressive agents, such
as cleaning powder.

clean the appliance with water or
high-pressure jet!

To remove the brush roller, position the
appliance in an upright position (see
Chapter "Storing the appliance").

First remove the right side of the brush
roller and then remove the brush roller.
Î
Wrapped up leaves, grass and small
branches are best loosened using a knife
or scissors and then removed.

Insert the cleaned or new brush roller and
ensure that it sits properly.
Please clean the brush strip after each use.
Î
Position the appliance in an upright posi-
tion (see Chapter "Storing the appliance").
Î
Loosen and remove the dirt from the bris-
tles, preferably by scraping.
Note
: Clean deep dirt that cannot be removed
by scraping under running water. Please re-
move the brush strip for this procedure.

Loosen the 3 screws and remove the
brush strip.

Clean the brush strip under running water.
Let it dry before reuse.

When replacing the brush strip please in-
sert as shown in the figure.
