Brush Removal & Bearing Cleaning
NOTE: The brushes should wear evenly side to side.
Brushes should be replaced as a set when bristle
length wears.
The brushes are removed from the right side of the
machine.
1. Pull door lever to release latch.
2. Slide the brush tray out the side.
Remove brush from tray.
3. Remove bearing cap from end of brush.
4. Clean bearings and cap.
Brush Installation
1. Place brush in tray.
2. Slide brush tray into opening and onto drive shaft.
Make sure it is fully seated and is driven by the
deck system.
3. Ensure the brush tray latch is fully engaged.
Brush Tray Removal and Cleaning
1. Pull door lever to release latch.
2. Slide the brush tray out the side.
3. Clean the contacts on the inside roof of the brush
housing. Be careful not to bend or damage them.
4. Clean the top rail surface of the brush tray
cartridge. Inspect for excessive wear and replace
as needed.
Side Broom Removal
1. Rotate the side broom to align pin with
vertical slot.
2. Slide side broom down from assembly.
3. Reverse process to assemble.
