Introduction and description

Purpose 

Juno2 is a camera for digital image processing and visualization designed for research, education & training as well as for 
industrial applications. Use the only for the purposes described in this operating manual.

Observe all specifications of the operating, maintenance and repair conditions described in this operating manual 
and in the operating manuals of further components. 

 

Any other use than prescribed under „intended use“ or use that goes beyond the above is not as intended. 
Consequently, the warranty is void and any liability of the manufacturer is excluded.

Safety Instructions 

For operational startup and safe operation of the camera system with power supply and accessories, observe the 
following safety precautions:  

 

•  Prior to startup, familiarize yourself with the camera using these instructions and the instructions in the operation 

manuals of all connected devices. 

•  Use the camera only in accordance with the operation manual.  
•  Always keep the operation manual within reach. 
•  Never operate the camera in an area containing explosive/combustible gases. An electric spark can trigger an explosion.   
•  Do not operate the camera or its accessories in fluids or in high humidity.  
•  Do not allow fluids to penetrate the camera or its power supply. 

•  Do not take the camera or its power supply apart under any circumstances.  
•  Do not drop the camera or its power supply or expose them to strong vibrations. Improper handling or storage of either 
the camera or the power supply can lead to damage. 
•  Continually pointing the camera lens or sensor into the sun or into the light cone of a floodlight can lead to damage or 
destruction of the sensor. 
•  Do not insert any objects through potential openings of the camera or the power supply as these could disturb 
dangerous voltage points, damaging the camera and leading to serious injury due to electric shock.

Reasonably Foreseeable Misuse  

Specifically, the following uses of the camera 

are prohibited

 
• 

Use of the camera in fluids or in high humidity. 

• 

Use of the camera in an explosive atmosphere. 

• 

Use of the camera in an area exposed to strong vibrations. 

• 

Use of the camera in a setting in which the camera’s lens and sensor are directed toward the sun. 

• 

Use of the camera on an unstable surface.  

• 

Any possible use that is not listed in the Intended/Appropriate Use.
