2” convoluted safety air pad enclosed in the base to support the patient in the event of loss of air
pressure in the mattress (not included on overlay mattress).
•
The mattress has hose assembly with easy to use quick connect and disconnect coupling.
•
The mattress can be disconnected from the unit by pulling the mattress hose connector straight out from
the control unit magnetic connector.
•
The mattress has a quick connector located at the foot end of the mattress. Lift the flap and connect an
extra air cell to expand the length of the mattress (optional). When extra air cells are attached with the Air
Cell Expansion Kit, installing the larger top sheet to cover the air cells is recommended.
•
The mattress has a cable management pocket along the patient right side of the mattress. This easy
access pocket provides convenience of protecting the power cable from accidental damage.
•
The mattress includes a CPR Valve at the bottom of the mattress for rapid deflation.
