1. INTENDED USE
The intended use of the Operatherm 202 / 200 is to prevent or minimise heat loss from patients in the
Operating Room.
The Operatherm must be used in compliance with the instructions in this manual and in accordance to
accepted hospital and clinical routines

2 SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the complete user manual carefully before using the equipment.

Never use a unit that do not perform the Self Test according to this manual.
Never use a unit that has been dropped or fallen onto the floor before it has been examined by a
qualified technician
The Operatherm 202 is a very safe equipment. However certain combinations of heat, pressure,
long term surgery and disinfectant fluids can cause skin damage. Therefore it is important to
observe the advice regarding pressure relief, excessive fluid and temperature selections given
later in this section.
