NOTE:

 As the steam pump is

getting up to temperature,

it may emit some noise. This

will grow quieter as the steam

comes through. If the water tank

runs out of water, the pump will

start to get noisy.

Steam Boost On Demand

•  Steam can be used to help

remove stubborn creases while

ironing. To activate Steam Boost,

ensure the Thermostat Control

is set to an appropriate setting

to produce steam, then press

down at the front of the Steam

Control Button and hold as

long as required.

Steam will emit as long the Steam

Control Button is pressed down

and will stop when released.

Vertical Steam Ironing

•  To vertical steam iron, ensure

there is water in the water tank

and turn the Thermostat Control

on the iron to the MAX position.

Set the Variable Steam Control

Dial to the desired setting for the

amount of steam required.

•  Hang the garment from a hanger

and stretch the fabric slightly with

one hand checking that there

is nothing behind the fabric that

can be damaged by the steam.

•  Hold the iron close to, but not

touching the fabric. Hold the iron

well away from delicate fabrics

and use a low steam setting.

wARNINg:

 Steam will

not be produced for

steam ironing if the

temperature on the

Thermostat Control is

not set to the area

marked STEAM and the

Steam Control Button is

not pressed.

wARNINg:

 As the steam

produced is very hot,

never iron or steam iron a

garment while it is being

worn; always hang the

garment on a hanger.

•  With the iron held vertically

and tilted slightly forwards,

press intermittently on the

Steam Control Button while

moving it from the top of the

garment to the bottom.

NOTE:

If using starch, spray it

onto the opposite side of the

garment to the side you are

steam ironing.
