Before first use
Remove all packaging material and
promotional labels. Wash the ice chamber
and base in warm, soapy water, rinse and
dry thoroughly.
Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth.
Assembling/Operating the
Frost Factory
Place water in the freezer container
leaving 1cm from the top to place the lid
on.Then place the container in the freezer
for 24 hours.
Place the motor body on a flat, dry
surface. Ensure the power plug is
unplugged from the power outlet.
Place a deep bowl or container onto the
base platform to hold shaved ice.
Place the ice chamber into the base by
lining up the flat sides and pushing the
chamber down.
Once the water in the freezer container
has set and formed into ice, remove the
freezer container from the freezer.
Remove the block of ice from the freezer
container.
Place the ice in the ice chamber.
Place the motor body on top of the ice
chamber. Plug the cord into a 230/240v
power outlet and switch on at the power
outlet.
Push the top of the motor housing to
start shaving. Release the motor housing
to stop shaving.
When ice shaving is complete, unplug the
Frost Factory and clean. Please see
Disassembling/Cleaning your Frost Factory
for directions.
NOTE! Please handle the ice chamber carefully
as the shaving blade is sharp. Mis-handling of the
blade may cause injury.
Tips for the best use of your
Kambrook Frost Factory
Do
Ensure all removable parts have been
thoroughly washed and dried before
assembly (except motor body).
Ensure the Frost Factory is correctly
assembled before operating.
Ensure the Frost Factory is used on
a clean, dry surface.
Don’t
Do not use ice cubes in the ice chamber.
Do not use the ice chamber to store ice.
Do not immerse the motor body, cord or
power plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not use harsh abrasives or cleaners.
Do not place any of the removable parts
in the dishwasher.
Cleaning your Frost Factory
Ensure the Frost Factory has been
unplugged from the power outlet.
Remove the bowl of shaved ice from
the base platform.
Remove the motor body by lifting it in
an upward position. Do not immerse
in water.
