Disassemble and remove the lock

body from the container or door.

Turn the lock over so the cables

and plastic tube retainer are

visable.

Insert the T-6 Torx Bit, supplied

with the X-09/X-10 Service Tool,

into the tool and remove the

screw holding the tube retainer

on to the lock case.

Carefully remove the tube

retainer.

Note: The Ground Contact will

probably be stuck to the Tube  Retainer

with grease, please be aware of this and

make sure it is in place when re-

installing the tube retainer. The cable

plug should now be visable.

Note:

The X-10 plastic tube retainer is

shorter and is located in a different spot.

If using an X-10 ribbon cable assembly

kit, make sure to use the plastic tube
retainer that’s on the X-09.

Remove the cable plug and

damaged cables and discard.

Remove the protective cover off

of the contacts of the new cables

and insert them into the lock case

as shown.
