BATTERY
Q: What type of battery is used in a WAFERLOCK Lock?
A: WAFERLOCK L701 Handle Lock comes with a CR2 lithium battery.
Q: How long will the battery last?
A: Up to 1.5 years (10 openings a day), at 20°C
Q: What if the battery dies?
A: Before the battery dies, the APP will send the low battery notification, if the lock is under
standalone mode, you will hear 3 beeps for 5 times every time you unlock. The battery usually can
hold for one to two weeks after the alert comes up, therefore, you will have enough time to replace
the battery.
How to replace the battery:
1. Insert the hexagon key at the bottom of the outer handle, turn the screw anti-clockwise and pull
out the battery holder at the same time.
2. Put the new battery on the battery holder.
3. Insert the hexagon key at the bottom of the battery holder, put back to the outer handle set and
then turn the screw clockwise.
*All the settings will remain the same after replacing the battery. If not, please try to unpair the lock
with App first and re-pair again.
*Emergency external power supply: Connect 9V battery with contact points.

A: Yes, all the features can be set up by tapping into the "entry method" in the WAFERKEY App.

A: Yes, you can deactivate the fob key by resetting it.

Q: Does the lock work on multi point locks?
The L701 is compatible with multipoint lock with the turning angle of the handle smaller than 37°
