Clean, test and if necessary replace seals.

Check the threading on the worm housing and the locking ring.

Check and retension, if necessary replace drive belts.
−
Check the cutter assembly for proper positioning.
−
Check the whole electrical system including connection cable.
−
Check all safety devices..
−
Final test run.

Replacement of parts, frequency
−
Cutter assembly whern the perforated plate thicknes is less than
6 mm.
−
Drive belts, every 2 years.
6.5
Error recognition and countermeasures
Machine does not switch off
−
Swich on main switch.
−
The discharge guard or protective grating is not closed.
−
Close protective devices according to regulations.
−
Wait until the motor has cooled down.
−
Check mains connection fuse and replace or switch back on if
necessary.
−
Thermal protection device is activated. Allow motor to cool down.
The engine does not pull through correctly, the motor zooms:
−
One of the three fuses for the supply lines failed and must be
replaced resp. switched on again.
Poor mincing results:
−
The knife assembly is dull and must be reshapened or replaced.
Working worm cannot be placed into the end position
−
The carrier pin is dirty and must eb cleaned.
−
A burr has formed on the rear end of the worm shaft. Remove
burr with a file.
Machine does not switch off when discharge guard is open.
−
The machine may not be operated intil the malfunction is
corrected.
−
The end position switch is defective or incorrectly mounted.
Machine does not switch off when the protective grating is open.
−
The machine may not be operated intil the malfunction is
corrected.
−
The end position switch is defective or incorrectly mounted.
