GPIB Connector
The GPIB connector is a micro D-sub 25P connector, controlling
external bench-top instruments. Connection to other instruments
requires the optional ACL-IEEE488-MD1-A cable. The onboard
GPIB controller provides:

Full compatibility with IEEE 488 standard

Up to 1.5 MB/s data transfer rates
X
Onboard 2 KB FIFO for read/write operations
X
Driver APIs are compatible with NI-488.2 driver software
X
Connection with up to 14 instruments
