24/7 MODE
Activating
the mode
Press for 3
seconds
Press the CONTINUOUS button
for at least 3 seconds.
Changing the area
being purified
During a 24/7 cycle, you can change
the area being treated. Select a new
area by pressing the desired button.
Activating the
BOOST mode
Press BOOST to start a shock
purification. At the end of the cycle,
the Shield will revert to 24/7 mode.
Stopping 24/7
mode
Press HOME. This means no
purification cycle is being performed.
The Shield will then await further
instructions.
Press CONTINUOUS. The Shield will
start an 8-hour CONTINUOUS cycle.

MAINTENANCE/FAULTS
RED
Fast flash
MAINTENANCE - Your Core is at the end
of its lifespan. In this situation, your Shield
will still operate but will not provide optimal
purification performance. Contact your
distributor or our JVD teams to order a new
Core. Refer to the Maintenance tab.
Steady
FAILURE - A failure has been detected in your
appliance. In this situation, your Shield can no
longer operate. Contact the JVD helpline on
+33 (0)2 40 75 96 30.
Screen off
Check your appliance’s connections. If the
interface still does not light up, contact the
JVD helpline on +33 (0)2 40 75 96 30.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Managing contamination
The appliance reduces the airborne microbial
load in order to limit contamination between
individuals during the airborne phase. The
appliance does not protect against direct contact
contamination or spray projections. You should
continue your current cleaning procedures.
2. Managing particles
If the appliance is in an environment with a high particle load over 2.5, the Core will need to be changed
more frequently.
