Attaching the Tripod
Use the tripod on a stable surface.
To prevent the unit from falling, attach
securely using the rotation prevention
hole.
Use screws with screw length 5 mm and
below.
Mounting the Lens
SD
Cards
Using cards other than those from
Panasonic, TOSHIBA or SanDisk may
result in recording failure or data loss.
Do not use a miniSD card or microSD
card (even if the card is inserted in an
adapter). It may cause malfunction to the
camera system.
If an UHS-I card with no classification
indication is used, it may not be possible
to perform HD recording.
Use the screw hole at the bottom of this
unit. (1/4×20 UNC)
To prevent the unit from falling off, which
may result in injuries or damages, read the
instruction manual of the tripod to be used
and make sure that it is securely attached.
Caution:
●
●
Be sure to turn OFF the power before
mounting or removing the lens.
This unit cannot restore zooming by
power off processing because there is no
power off switch.
●
Avoid exchanging lenses in a dusty place
to prevent dust from entering the unit.
●
When no lens is mounted to the unit, be
sure to attach a cap on to prevent dirt and
dust from sticking to the filter inside of the
unit.
●
If there is dust on the filter inside of the
unit, just blow it away with a commercially
available air duster.
●
Hold the air duster so that its nozzle does
not enter the space inside the lens mount.
●
Be careful not to touch the filter.
This unit saves the recorded video onto the
SD card (sold separately) in the card slot.
Usable Cards
When shooting 4K images, use a UHS
Speed Class 3 SD card. When shooting HD
images, use a Class 6 or higher SD.
Caution:
The ProCam UHD unit does not come
with a
lens.
Before mounting the lens, remove the caps
of unit and lens. Insert the lens using the
MFT guide dot and rotate clockwise until
lens locks onto unit body. Do not press the
lens release button when installing the lens.
To remove the lens, turn it counterclockwise
while holding down the lens release button.
Other MFT lenses may offer focus and iris
control, auto-focus and auto-iris. Some MFT
lenses need additional tuning to make them
work perfectly with the auto functions, and
currently tuning for additional MFT lenses is
added as needed by request. Other lenses
designed to work with larger sensors work
with the ProCam UHD as well with the
appropriate adapter to attach to the unit's
MFT mount.
Caution:
Settings and Adjustments
Before Use
Basic setup of the ProCam UHD unit requires
installing a suitable lens, inserting an SD
card (optional), connecting video outputs
(optional), connecting serial command and
genlock input via the control connector, and
powering the unit.
Caution:
Due to internal temperature rise during
use, please allow 2 cm or more of space
on either side of the unit.
If attempting to detach or re-attach the
module unit body from the fiber box unit,
please use the following precaution:
Olympus M.ZUIKO Digital 17 mm F/1.8
Panasonic LUMIX G VARIO 14-140 mm
F/3.5-5.6 ASPH. POWER O.I.S.
Note:
The ProCam UHD features a Micro Four

are many MFT lenses available, currently
there are two recommended lenses to use:
