• The antenna could be disconnected. Check the connections (page 7 and 8).
• Check the zip code in Setup (page 18).
• Check the zip code in Setup (page 18). If the wrong zip code for your area was entered,
GUIDE Plus+ GOLD may not be receiving the correct data for your area.
• Check Setup (page 18). Make sure GUIDE Plus+ GOLD was setup for cable and/or VCR.
• Make sure the correct brands of cable box and/or VCR were entered during Setup.
• Check the IR Mouse connections (page 7 and 8). Make sure the IR Mouse transmitters are
positioned in front of the IR windows on your cable box and/or VCR.

• When switching channels the GUIDE Plus+ GOLD screen or PIP window display may briefly
become unstable. This should stop in a moment and is not a malfunction.
• If you move to the News feature of GUIDE Plus+ GOLD while the system is downloading new
data, the on-screen image may briefly become unstable. This is because the system may be
switching between reception streams. It will only occur for a moment and is not sign of a
malfunction.

the display for all the channels whose listing you wish to receive are turned on.
