2 Preparation
Briefly press the Rotary Switch once to enter ‘coffee à la carte’ mode.
In this mode you can select the coffee strength and amounts
before
preparation.

The settings made in ‘coffee à la carte’ mode are
one-off
set-
tings and are not stored.
E
The machine will exit ‘coffee à la carte’ mode automatically
after 5 seconds if no preparation is started.
E
You cannot prepare double products in ‘coffee à la carte’
mode.
Example:
Proceed as follows to prepare an espresso in ‘coffee à la
carte’ mode.
Precondition:
‘Please select product:’
is displayed.

Place a cup under the coffee spout.

‘Café à la carte’
The products you can prepare in this mode are displayed.

You can also select the products in the product selector. To do
this, turn the Rotary Switch to view the product selector.

Press the
‘Espresso’
button.
‘Coffee strength’
appears on the display.

Turn the Rotary Switch to adjust the coffee strength.

Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the setting.
‘Volume’

Turn the Rotary Switch to adjust the fill volume.

Press the Rotary Switch to confirm the setting.
Preparation starts. The espresso is prepared using the
selected settings.
Preparation stops automatically.
