Displaying asymmetry

key twice in an interval of approx. 1 second.
Displaying slope at 25 °C

Briefly press the
key three times in an interval of approx. 1 second.
less than 30 %: The combination electrode is severely aged or contami-
nated.
If there is no improvement after cleaning (see chapter 11.2
"Cleaning", page 50)
and subsequent calibration, the com-
bination electrode must be replaced.
NOTE!
During the evaluation, both the asymmetry and the slope of the combination
electrode are considered.
The asymmetry of the pH combination electrode is
displayed for approximately 3 seconds.
Example: asymmetry -30 mV
Admissible range:
±55 mV
Optimal:
0 mV

Contamination can cause the asymmetry of the combination electrode to
deteriorate significantly.
The slope of the pH combination electrode is dis-
played for approximately 3 seconds.

-59.2 mV/pH
