When the reservoir is empty, wait one minute before removing the pot so that the coffee can
drip down from the filter.
– You can keep the coffee hot on the hob for up to 40 minutes after the brewing. The hob
switches off after 40 minutes.

Switch off and make sure the coffee maker is not plugged into the mains after use.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
• Unplug the power cord and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning it.
• Never immerse the appliance, the power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
• For best results and taste it is important to keep the coffee maker clean. Clean and descale the
coffee maker regularly according to the instructions for best results.
CLEANING
• Wash all the loose parts in hot water and washing-up liquid after use.
• Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry with a dry cloth.
• Drops of water can collect over the funnel and drip down onto the hob during the brewing. To
avoid this, wipe with a clean dry cloth after use.
• Carefully wipe the hob with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive detergents.
• Replace all the parts after cleaning them so that the appliance is ready to use again.
DESCALING
1.
Fill the reservoir to the MAX mark with the vinegar mixture. Use 30 ml of vinegar to one pot
of cold water.
2.
Put the pot on the hob.
3.
Check that the filter (without coffee) and funnel fit in place properly.
4.
Start the appliance and let the vinegar mixture trickle through.
5.
When one cup of the mixture has run through, switch off the appliance.
6.
Wait 15 minutes and repeat steps 3–5.
7.
Start the appliance and let the rest of the mixture trickle through until the reservoir is empty.
8.
Rinse by filling the reservoir with cold water and allowing it to trickle through.
Repeat at least twice.
