Installing the saw blade
1.
Select the correct saw blade for cutting the material in question.
2.
Turn the ring on the saw blade clamp until the saw blade can be slid into saw blade bracket slot.
3.
Release ring. The ring should now voluntarily turned back to its starting position. If this does
not happen - turn the ring to the starting position by hand.
4.
Check that the saw blade is secured correctly in the bracket by pulling the saw blade.
NOTE:
Always remove the battery from the reciprocating saw before a saw blade is inserted or taken out.
Sawing
1.
Place the reciprocating saw's base plate against the work piece.
2.
Start the reciprocating saw and hold it against the work piece.
NOTE:
Do not hold the work piece with your hands.
MAINTENANCE
• The ventilation openings on the power tool should be cleaned regularly.
• Clean the power tool with a lightly moistened cloth. Wipe carefully afterwards.
NOTE:
Many cleaning agents contain chemicals that can attack the power tool's plastic
components. Never use petrol, turpentine, paint thinner or similar products.
• Keep the tools sharp and clean for better and safer work.
• If errors or malfunctions occur the power tool should be checked by an authorised service centre.
• Never open the power tool.
STORAGE
• When the power tool is not in use, it should be stored in a dry and secure place with a maximum
temperature of 40 °C and out of reach of unauthorised persons.
• Do not store the battery and charger in places where the temperature can reach 40 °C,
for example, in a car parked in the sun.
• Do not expose the power tool, charger or battery to moisture.
