•   Switch off the appliance, pull out the plug, 

and wait until all moving parts have 
completely stopped before moving away, 
before transporting the appliance, before 
cleaning the rotor housing or ejector, and 
before cleaning, inspection, adjusting or 
repairing.

•   Be very careful when changing direction 

on slopes.

•   Be careful when reversing with the 

appliance.

•   Never use the appliance if the guards or 

safety devices are dismantled or 
damaged.

•   Never point the ejector at people or 

animals, or at objects that can be 
damaged. Keep onlookers, especially 
children, and pets at a safe distance.

•   Do not overload the appliance by trying to 

remove too much snow too quickly.

•   Never use the appliance in poor visibility 

or bad light. Make sure you always have a 
firm footing and a firm grip on the 
handle. Never run with the appliance. 

•  Never use the appliance near cars, or 

windows, etc.

CLEARING THE ROTOR HOUSING

Follow the instructions below to clear the rotor 
housing:

 

– Switch off the appliance and pull out 

the plug.

 

–  Wait 10 seconds to make sure that 

the snow screw has completely 
stopped.

 

–  Use a suitable tool to clear the rotor 

housing and/or release the snow 
screw. Never use your hands.

     WARNING!   
Never clear the rotor housing with your hands. 
If your hands or feet come into contact with the 
snow screw there is a risk of serious personal 
injury. 

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

•   Check at regular intervals that all unions 

are intact and properly tightened, and 
that the appliance is in safe working 
condition.

•   Follow all the instructions and safety 

instructions, including the storage 
instructions.

•   Stickers with safety information and 

instructions must always be clean and 
legible. Replace them if necessary.

•   When not in use, store the appliance in a 

dry place out of the reach of children.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

•   Only connect the appliance to a fused and 

RCD protected power point.

•   Only use an extension cord approved for 

outdoor use.

•  Never modify the plug in any way. Allow 

an authorised electrician to install an 
earthed power point if the plug does not 
fit in the power point.

•  Check that the extension cord is in good 

condition. The wire cross-sectional area of 
the extension cord must be dimensioned 
for the power supply to the appliance.  An 
extension cord with a length of up to 15 
metres should have a minimum wire 
cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm². An 
extension cord with a length of up to 30 
metres should have a minimum wire 
cross-sectional area of 2.5 mm². An 
undersized extension cord causes a 
voltage drop, which leads to power loss 
and overheating.

•  An electric shock can cause serious 

personal injury and/or death.

•   Make sure that no part of appliance 

comes into contact with water or any 
other liquid when it is use. If the 
appliance has got wet, wipe it dry before 
use.
