SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read these instructions carefully before use
Always follow these safety and maintenance instructions to help you get the greatest pleasure from your
pool.
It is the responsibility of the pool owner to find out and comply with all applicable laws and
regulations concerning safety for swimming pools above ground before the pool is assembled and
used. This includes, but is not limited to, laws relating to decking, fences, barriers, covers, pool
ladders, lights and the necessary safety equipment. Check with local authorities concerning local
regulations.
Do not use sand to level the ground. Choose another site for your pool if the ground is uneven.
Failure to observe this warning can result in serious injury.
Do not leave children unattended in the pool. At least one adult should always supervise children
and persons who cannot swim. Never bathe in the pool alone.
Never jump or dive into the pool. Never jump into the pool from a height as the water in the pool is
too shallow. Failure to observe this warning can result in serious injury or death.
Do not allow children or adults to wrestle or do any other form of aggressive sporting activity in or
near the pool. Failure to observe this warning can result in serious injury to people in or near the
pool.
Appropriate pool safety equipment must always be easily accessible near the pool. Put an SOS
number and safety regulations where they can be seen (e.g. DIVING PROHIBITED or DO NOT
SWIM ALONE). Do not allow anyone to swim in the pool if the area is not adequately illuminated.
The filter pump supplied with the pool is designed to remove soil and other small particles from the
pool water. However, proper chemical treatment of the water is essential to keep it clear and free
from algae and harmful bacteria. Contact your local pool accessory dealer for more information
about safe and effective use of chlorine, shock chlorination, algaecides and similar chemicals.
Never add chemicals to the water when someone is in the water as this can cause skin or eye
irritation or even injury. Never add chemicals or other substances to the water unless you are
absolutely sure which chemicals to add and the correct quantities. Contact a pool accessory dealer
for exact information on which chemicals to use in your pool.
We recommend that pool owners test the water in their pools at regular intervals throughout the
season to ensure that the pH and chlorine levels are optimal for safe bathing. Obtain suitable test
equipment with instructions.
All equipment, including the pool fabric, inflatable ring, tubes, drain guard, pump house, any
accessories and power cords should be regularly inspected for corrosion, deterioration, missing or
broken parts and other risk factors.
Circular pools with a steel frame are designed for out-of-season storage. If you live in a temperate
region where the pool will not be used all year round, we strongly recommend that you empty,
clean and thoroughly dry the pool and keep it protected when it is not the season for swimming
pools. This will extend the life of the pool and minimise the risk of hazards when the pool is not in
use.
All filtration meets the requirements of the NF C 15-100 installation standard, which states that all
electrical appliances that are accessible and are closer to the pool than 3.5 metres must be low
voltage (12 V). Electrical appliances with 230 V supply voltage must be further than 3.5 metres
from the poolside. Contact the manufacturer about changes or adjustments to any part of the
filtration system.
You are responsible for your child's safety. Children under the age of 5 are at greater risk.
Accidents do not only happen to other people - you must be prepared to deal with them!
